Anjali Kapadia

Anjali Kapadia is a Clinical Case Manager at Sandhill Center and a graduate of Duke University, where she studied Public Policy. She is especially interested in intergenerational trauma, immigration narratives, and pathways to healing in ways that resonate with her South Asian heritage.

Anjali directly collaborates with the Residence Management Team (RMT), program therapists, and administrators to integrate key NMT concepts more deeply into our program philosophy; to synthesize new interventions (such as the Safe and Sound Protocol) into the program; and to develop a long-awaited organizational outcome study. Her work in these and other areas will help us all move towards our goal of providing the best possible care for the children and families we serve.

Guided by a spirit of lifelong learning, she is especially interested in applying insights from affective neuroscience to clinical practice and integrating diverse modalities to continually refine practice.

Anjali plans to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Outside of work, she is writing a graphic novel with her best friend inspired by the idea that feelings are the color in life, exploring reclaiming emotional experience, healing, and story. A devoted Duke basketball fan, lifelong lifter, and recent pickleball convert, she is also pursuing certification as a personal trainer.
